Terms of Service

01Eligibility & membership

• The App is for members and well-wishers of the Soni / Swarnkar community.
• You must provide accurate information. Membership is subject to approval by a samaj administrator; we may decline or revoke membership at our discretion.
• Matrimony (Rishta) features are for adults aged 18 and above.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and OTP secure. Do not share your login.

02Your account

You log in using your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, unlawful, obscene, hateful, or harassing content;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or relationships;
• Misuse matrimony, directory, or contact information (no spam, solicitation, or harvesting of members' data);
• Upload content you don't have the right to share;
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the App;
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law.

Violations may lead to content removal, suspension, or permanent removal from the community (see section 9).

04Membership plans & fees

• The App offers a free tier and paid plans (Basic / Standard / Premium) that unlock additional features (e.g. directory, matrimony, chat, business listings).
• Plan prices, durations, and inclusions are shown in the App and may change with notice. Prices exclude 18% GST, payable extra as applicable under Indian law.
• Paid plans are prepaid for the stated period and renew only if you choose to renew (auto-debit, where offered, requires your explicit consent).

05Donations

• Donations made through the App support the stated causes and campaigns of the registered community trusts shown in the App.
• Donations are voluntary and non-refundable once completed.
• Where applicable, 80G tax-exemption receipts are issued by the respective trust based on the name/PAN/address you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details.

06Payments

Payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms. We do not store your card/UPI/bank credentials. A payment is complete only when confirmed by the payment partner.

07Refunds & cancellation

• Donations: non-refundable once processed (see section 5).
• Membership/paid features: generally non-refundable for the active period. If you are charged in error or a payment is deducted without the service being delivered, contact us at jmnaresh@gmail.com within 7 days and we will investigate and refund genuine cases to the original payment method.
• Refunds, where approved, are processed within 7–10 working days.

08Matrimony (Rishta) — important

• The App only helps community families discover and connect. We are not a marriage broker and make no guarantee of any match, response, or outcome.
• We do not verify the accuracy of profiles, photos, or claims made by other users. Verify all information independently before making any decision. Exercise caution and never share financial information with other users.
• The Operator is not responsible for the conduct of any user or the success/failure of any relationship.

09Content, moderation & removal

• You retain ownership of content you post. You grant the Operator a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it within the App for the purpose of running the community.
• Certain content (e.g. matrimony photos) is reviewed before publication.
• Members can report or block others. Administrators may remove content, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.

10Community data

The member directory and shared community information are provided for personal, community use only. Do not copy, scrape, export, or use members' data for commercial, political, or unsolicited-marketing purposes.

11Availability

We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued. We may perform maintenance or updates at any time.

12Disclaimers & limitation of liability

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator and the participating community trusts, their trustees, and volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for the conduct of any user, arising from your use of the App.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Operator against claims arising from your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

15Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at «city — to be confirmed», Gujarat.

16Grievance & contact

We will acknowledge and address complaints within the timelines required by law.
